The international conference “Sex, Gender, and Liberation of the Jews in Eastern and Central Europe (1860–1945)”, organized by the Ukrainian Association for Jewish Studies, will take place in hybrid format in Uzhhorod on June 24–25, 2025. Scholars from eight countries (Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Hungary, France, USA, and Israel) will participate in the two-day event.
Keynote speakers: Prof. Eliyana R. Adler (Binghamton University, United States) and Dr. Carol Mann (University of Paris 8, France).
The working language is English.
