The names of Marten Feller and Zhanna Kovba UAJS Book Award 2025 winners have been announced.
In 2025, it was decided to split the award between two nominees:
Ivan Monolatii — for the book Vykonavets' slova. Yakiv Orenshtain. Ukrains'kyi vydavets' na perekhrestiakh kul'tur, ideolohii ta polityky / The Man of His Word: Yakiv Orenstein. A Ukrainian Publisher at the Crossroads of Cultures, Ideologies, and Politics (Kyiv: Dukh i Litera, 2025. 272 p.);
Olha Radchenko — for the book Ievreis'ki bizhentsi v Ukraini, 1939–1941 rr. / Jewish Refugees in Ukraine, 1939–1941 (Kyiv: Dukh i Litera, 2025. 240 p.).
Both authors are awarded for their contributions to the study of relations between Jews and non-Jews in Ukraine in the first half of the 20th century.
