Upcoming bibliographic database “Jewish Studies in Independent Ukraine” was presented at a UCHS annual round table

UAJS President Vitaly Chernoivanenko and UAJS Vice President Serhiy Hirik participated in the 19th annual round table “Ukrainian Society and the Memory of the Holocaust: Challenges in the Wartime”, organized by the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies in Kyiv on the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, January 27th.

The presentation has been a part of the panel on educational and research projects for universities. The Association’s representatives spoke about the idea of creating a bibliographic database “Jewish Studies in Independent Ukraine”, the features of its content and navigation compared to the largest foreign bibliographic resources on Jewish Studies, as well as the prospects for its use by researchers, teachers, and students.

The database is developed in partnership with UNESCO Ukraine with financial support from the European Union.
