In 2019, the Ukrainian Association for Jewish Studies organized the series of lectures "Jews of Ukraine: From Old Rus to Independence". The project is supported by the Dutch Jewish Humanitarian Fund. The venue is the Jewish community center "Halom".

Would you like to learn more about the history and traditions of the East European Jewry? To explore the cultural and civilizational heritage of the Ukrainian Jews, Jewish literature and modern translations from Yiddish? To find out when the Jewish communities first appeared in the territories of modern Ukraine, how they coexisted with their neighbours, and what was their everyday life in times of bloom and catastrophes?

We invite you to visit the lectures of distinguished scholars, professors of Master Program in Jewish Studies and Interdisciplinary Certificate Program at Jewish Studies of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, and specialists from other academic institutions.

You can find the schedule and videos from the previous lectures at http://bit.ly/UAJS_Jews_of_Ukraine.

We kindly ask you to provide feedback on this series of lectures organized by UAJS.
